Benno Marmur brings the sophisticated swing of New York City’s finest rooms to Mr. Tipple’s — a highly sought-after guitarist whose career has taken him to the stages of Smalls, Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola, The Iridium, Minton’s Playhouse in Harlem, and venues across Ireland, Georgia, and beyond. A Cellar Live recording artist, Marmur has shared the bandstand with Grant Stewart, Vincent Herring, Chris Potter, Bill Charlap, Mark Whitfield, the New York Voices, and many others, cementing his reputation as one of New York’s most versatile and in-demand guitarists.

It is a compact, low-lit space with a small stage, tightly packed tables, and a long bar that runs along one side.
