Curious about trying out a Bay Wheels bike? Come learn about the East Bay's bike share system and take a loop with Bike East Bay!
Join us to learn about Bay Wheels bike share, its reduced-rate program, and essential safety tips and need-to-knows for getting around the city by bike! Weâll meet indoors for the first half of the program and then roll out for a group ride on BayWheels e-bikes!
Bay Wheels requires riders to be 18 or older.
Free helmets and a Bay Wheels monthly membership for all registered attendees! Our workshop is limited to 20 participantsâregister early to secure your spot at this link.

Oakland Public Library’s Main Library is the big central branch in downtown Oakland, a short walk from Lake Merritt and near a bunch of bus lines and BART. Inside, it feels like a traditional multi story city library, with a busy ground floor, quieter upper levels, and lots of tables, study spots, and public computers. There is paid street parking and a couple of garages nearby, but spaces can be tight, so many people use transit instead. more...
