Join us every Wednesday afternoon for a relaxing and fun-filled activity! After our exciting MOCHA program on the first Wednesday of the month, kids can look forward to a new craft every week with Crafternoon for Kids! Each week, children can explore their creativity with a different craftâwhether theyâre painting, cutting, gluing, or simply having fun.

The César E. Chávez Branch is part of the Oakland Public Library system in the Fruitvale neighborhood, inside the Fruitvale Transit Village near the BART station. The space is straightforward and busy, with a typical mix of families, teens, and older patrons throughout the afternoon.
