Teens! Celebrate Pride Month at the library and make your own pronoun pins and pride posters.
We'll teach you how to use our button-maker and will have pre-made pronoun templates or you can design your own.
We'll also have poster board plus markers, paint, stickers, and more to create any message you want to share this month.
For teens ages 13-18. No experience required, all materials provided!

Oakland Public Library’s Main Library is the big central branch in downtown Oakland, a short walk from Lake Merritt and near a bunch of bus lines and BART. Inside, it feels like a traditional multi story city library, with a busy ground floor, quieter upper levels, and lots of tables, study spots, and public computers. There is paid street parking and a couple of garages nearby, but spaces can be tight, so many people use transit instead. more...
