Melissa Clark is an author, television writer, podcast creator and college instructor. Her novels include, Swimming Upstream, Slowly; Imperfect; and Bear Witness. Melissa created, executive produced, and wrote multiple episodes of the award-winning animated television series, Braceface, which starred the voice of Alicia Silverstone and Michael Cera, and has written scripts for Rolie Polie Olie, Sweet Valley High, and Totally Spies, among others. Melissa teaches writing courses at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles.
