Spatial Intelligence + Generative 3D Hackathon — Event Plan
World Labs × Tripo × mint.gg × Convex.dev · One-day hackathon · San Francisco
Overview
We're teaming up with World Labs, Tripo, mint.gg, and Convex.dev for a one-day hackathon in San Francisco at the intersection of spatial intelligence and generative 3D.
Participants will get hands-on access to some of the best tools for generating 3D content and turning it into functional, interactive experiences:
World Labs — large world models for generating immersive worlds
Tripo — rapid 3D asset generation for creating game-ready objects
mint.gg — agentic creation platform and developer tools for bringing worlds and assets together as interactive, playable experiences
Convex.dev — real-time backend infrastructure for powering application data, state, multiplayer systems, and agentic experiences
Together, we'll explore what becomes possible when entire worlds, detailed 3D objects, and real-time scenes can be generated from little more than a prompt or an image — and then quickly assembled, programmed, connected, and shared.
Tracks
Gaming & Interactive Worlds — Playable worlds, games, multiplayer experiences, interactive applications, and real-time 3D scenes
Physical AI & Simulation — Robotics, simulation, embodied agents, spatial reasoning, training environments, and digital twins
Creative 3D & VFX — Visual effects, virtual production, cinematic experiences, creative tools, real-time graphics, and experimental projects that do not fit neatly into the other tracks
Prizes
The top two teams in each of the three tracks will each receive:
$1k in World Labs credits
$1k in Tripo credits
$1k in mint.gg credits
That’s $3k in total credits per winning team.
With two winning teams across each of the three tracks, there will be six prize-winning teams.
Convex.dev will also give away Three Convex memberships. One to the top team in each tract.

Science and Technology
San Francisco as a “venue” usually means the event could be in a private dining room, a historic building, or a coworking or gallery-style space somewhere in the city. Tech and founder dinners like the Junto series often use private clubs or reservation-only restaurants, with multi-course meals at shared tables and a set program. Larger mixers such as SF Climate Week happy hours tend to be in central locations with structured check-in, name badges, sponsor signage, and access to nearby paid parking garages, especially around corridors like Van Ness and downtown. more...
