Join us at the West Oakland Branch for the Adult Craft Club. Arts and Crafts are for grown folks, too! Build community, learn new crafting skills, and hang out. The projects are DIY, beginner-friendly, and all materials are provided. Every month, the craft will rotate. Feel free to bring your own art projects as well. Hobby hoppers, newbies, advanced crafters, and all are welcome.This program is possible thanks to a grant from the Friends of the Oakland Public Library.

West Oakland Branch of the Oakland Public Library is a straightforward neighborhood library in West Oakland, a short walk from DeFremery Park and the public pool. Inside, visitors find the usual mix of shelves for adults, teens, and kids, along with a noticeable African American collection and smaller Arabic and Spanish sections. There are graphic novels for different age ranges, toys set out for young children, and a small study room that people use for quiet work or tutoring. more...
