Join us for our 2nd Annual Baba & Me Father's Day Celebration
We'll have fun and activities for fathers, father figures and their children.
Activities include photo frame decoration and photo booth, bounce house, chess, tug-of-war, spinart, Baba's reading circle and more.
Movement and fun provided by Destiny Arts, Black Girls Code, Afro Play Oakland, Black Men's Chess League, and OPL's Bike Library Lounge.

Lakeview Branch is a small Oakland Public Library location right by Lake Merritt, across from the lakeside path and playground. It is a single-story building with a mural on the side, a main entrance on the street side, and another entrance from the parking lot with a low ramp and power-assisted doors. Inside, the layout is straightforward: a service desk near the front, shelves of books in English and Spanish, and a modest number of tables and chairs. more...
