Tasting of 6 Wines for $25 ($15 club) from 4-7pm
Showing the France quarterfinal match at 1pm (assuming they advance to that stage)
We're celebrating Bastille Day a bit early with our two favorite frenchmen - Paul of Pierrecclos Imports and Gregoire of G. Montot Imports - to celebrate our favorite family run, small production French gems. Paul and Greg work with tiny producers from every corner of the country, from Burgundy to the Savoie, Champagne to the Loire, and everything in between.
And if all goes well? France will be playing their quarterfinal match of the World Cup that same afternoon. Like any good Frenchmen, Paul & Greg will be at the bar cheering their team when the match kicks off at 1pm. Come early for the match, stay later for a flight of Paul & Greg's incredible wines & Bastille Day food specials.

Vintage Berkeley on Vine Street is a small neighborhood wine shop in North Berkeley, a short walk from the cluster of restaurants and cafes often called the Gourmet Ghetto. The space is compact and straightforward, with shelves of bottles organized by region and style and a small counter where staff talk through picks or pour tastes during events. It feels more like a serious retail shop than a bar, though there is room to stand around high tables or the counter for tasting flights during scheduled happenings. more...
