West Oakland Job Resource Center sits in the middle of West Oakland’s neighborhood activity, in the same building as the West Oakland Branch Library across from DeFremery Park. The job center offices are on the second floor, in room 211, so visitors coming for an event should plan on going upstairs rather than into a storefront space. The feel is practical and work focused, with standard office and training rooms used for orientations, classes and one on one meetings. more...
