Chair yoga is designed for those who have difficulty getting up and down from the floor due to arthritis, knee injury, back pain or any other reason.
Learn from a certified yoga instructor how a daily practice will improve your strength, flexibility, and balance. Meditation elements are included to help you develop greater body awareness and to help you set your intention before the class.

Oakland Public Library’s Eastmont Branch is inside the Eastmont Town Center in East Oakland, on the second floor of the complex. The space is straightforward and functional, with a typical branch layout: service desk near the entrance, rows of shelves, public computers, and a clearly marked Teen Zone. There is an elevator up from the main level and the entry from the parking side has a low-slope ramp and power-assisted doors, so getting in with strollers or mobility devices is simple. more...
