Discover the beauty, philosophy, and cultural significance of Chinese calligraphy in this engaging, hands-on workshop. Through guided instruction and live demonstration by Ms.Chanel (Zhaohui) Huang, participants will be introduced to the history and evolution of this ancient art form, explore the meaning behind Chinese characters, and gain insight into various calligraphy styles and artistic expressions.
Participants will also practice basic brush techniques and character writing, experiencing calligraphy as both a creative discipline and a meditative practice. Open to all levels, this workshop offers a reflective and enriching opportunity to connect with Chinese calligraphy as an art form rooted in mindfulness and tradition.
