Competitive Scrolling | Western Conference Scroll Games

On July 19th from 2-4pm at tiat, show up to fight for the title of Western Conference Scroll Games Champion!
Show up to watch or compete in a series of scroll-based events ranging from “Reel Sprint” to “Tune Your Algorithm” as Internet “celebrity” guests Peter Bjorndal (@bjornd.al) and deepfates (@deepfates) host what will most certainly be a legendary afternoon of fun, excitement, algorithmic uncertainty, and tender moments.

Winners will receive a “chronically online” “prize” package and frameable certificate as well as preferential seeding for 2027’s International Scroll Games.

tiat is a new media art and technology space in San Francisco’s Union Square, in the retail podium of the Herbert Hotel. The main level is a straightforward white-walled gallery with room for projections, screens, and sculptural pieces, plus a smaller side nook that often feels like a quieter corner to read wall text or talk between sets.
