Join us the 3rd Friday of each month, for even more crafts at the West Oakland Branch! We'll have a different craft each month, so come check it out!
Crafts are designed for ages 5-15 and their caregivers, but anyone any age is welcome to join and create art.

West Oakland Branch of the Oakland Public Library is a straightforward neighborhood library in West Oakland, a short walk from DeFremery Park and the public pool. Inside, visitors find the usual mix of shelves for adults, teens, and kids, along with a noticeable African American collection and smaller Arabic and Spanish sections. There are graphic novels for different age ranges, toys set out for young children, and a small study room that people use for quiet work or tutoring. more...
