The Royal Cuckoo is a compact neighborhood bar in the southern Mission / Bernal Flats area, with a long, narrow room, a wooden bar, and low lighting. Most nights the focus is on live music built around a Hammond organ installed at the end of the bar, with small jazz, blues, and swing groups working in a pretty tight space.
