Linocut Block Printing with Amor Eterno Arte

Join OPL and local artists Amor Eterno Arte for a linocut block printing workshop in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month!
This is a hands-on workshop where participants will learn about the basics of block printing and then make their own print to take home. All materials will be provided by the library, while supplies last.
The minimum age requirement is 10 years old.
This program is made possible by the Friends of the Oakland Public Library.

Oakland Public Library’s 81st Avenue Branch sits next to ACORN Woodland and EnCompass Academy in East Oakland and doubles as both a neighborhood and school library. Expect a modern, multi-story building with a straightforward layout, a staffed front desk, and a mix of families, students, and regulars using the space throughout the day.
