Join Emilia Lopez-Yanez of Malinky Music for a joyful, bilingual Spanish-English music and movement program for young children (ages 0-5) and their families, promoting language development, motor skills, and cultural appreciation through interactive songs and play.El dÃa de los niños/El dÃa de los libros (Children's Day/Book Day), commonly known as DÃa, is a celebration every day of children, families, and reading that culminates yearly on April 30.
DÃa is a nationally recognized initiative that emphasizes the importance of literacy for all children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds. It is a daily commitment to linking children and their families to diverse books, languages, and cultures.

Rockridge Branch sits on College Avenue in the middle of Oakland’s Rockridge neighborhood, a short walk from Rockridge BART and the rest of the College Avenue shops and cafés. It is a multi-story branch with an elevator and automatic doors at the main entrance, so getting in and around the building is straightforward for strollers and wheelchairs.
