West Oakland Branch of the Oakland Public Library is a straightforward neighborhood library in West Oakland, a short walk from DeFremery Park and the public pool. Inside, visitors find the usual mix of shelves for adults, teens, and kids, along with a noticeable African American collection and smaller Arabic and Spanish sections.
