Practice Reading Aloud with Our Special Friends.
Our furry friends, Navi and Barley, are gentle, trained therapy dogs who patiently listen to kids as they read out loud. This program is great for reluctant readers and is a wonderful way for reading-age children and tweens to get more practice reading aloud.

Temescal Branch is the neighborhood library for the Telegraph and 52nd area of Oakland’s Temescal district. It is a multi story building with an entrance on Telegraph and an elevator that connects to the lower level.
