Get in the game this summer! Kids ages 5-12 are invited to a fun and active soccer clinic led by a professional player from Oakland Roots SC.
This interactive clinic is perfect for young players of all skill levels. Participants will learn basic soccer techniques, practice teamwork, and build confidence through engaging drills and games. Plus, kids will have the exciting opportunity to meet a pro athlete and hear what it’s like to play for Oakland’s hometown team.

Oakland Public Library’s 81st Avenue Branch sits next to ACORN Woodland and EnCompass Academy in East Oakland and doubles as both a neighborhood and school library. Expect a modern, multi-story building with a straightforward layout, a staffed front desk, and a mix of families, students, and regulars using the space throughout the day.
