September 18, 2026 at Vintage Berkeley in Berkeley, CA
Under the Radar France @ Solano Cellars Friday, September 18th
5-8pm
6 wines for $25 ($15 for Club Members)
As some of the most established and revered real estate in the wine-producing world, French wine isn’t exactly in need of any grand introduction. It can, however, be easy to forget that French wine isn’t all Burgundy, Bordeaux, and the Rhône Valley. Beyond the famous AOCs, France is home to fascinating, remote regions producing some of the most scintillating wines in the world: mineral rich whites from the alpine regions of eastern France, rustic reds from the remote areas of the southwest reach, and so much in between.
Our friend Gregoire Montot - a native of remote, under the radar France - will join us to shed a light on regions deserving of a bigger spotlight on the global stage.

Vintage Berkeley on Vine Street is a small neighborhood wine shop in North Berkeley, a short walk from the cluster of restaurants and cafes often called the Gourmet Ghetto. The space is compact and straightforward, with shelves of bottles organized by region and style and a small counter where staff talk through picks or pour tastes during events. It feels more like a serious retail shop than a bar, though there is room to stand around high tables or the counter for tasting flights during scheduled happenings. more...
