Claremont Middle School sits in Oakland’s Rockridge neighborhood, a short walk from the Rockridge BART station and the main College Avenue strip. It is a typical public middle school campus serving grades 6 through 8 in the Oakland Unified School District, with a mix of older permanent buildings and a few portable classrooms.
