Embroidery on Clothing Workshop
Learn techniques for embroidering on clothing to personalize your style. Choose from stick-on wash-off templates or design your own pattern. All you need to bring is the item of clothing you’d like to embroider on.
The best things to embroider will be made of natural fibers like cotton, denim and linen.
Polyester is tricky, so steer clear of anything too slippery, stretchy or fuzzy. If you’re unsure whether your clothing item is suitable for this class, we suggest bringing a backup option just in case.
You’ll learn:
• How to stabilize and hoop your fabric
• Design transfer methods
• Tools of the trade
Experience: beginners welcome, basic hand sewing encouraged
Ages: 14+
Supplies: Bring a piece of clothing to embroider (or buy something in the shop), the rest is on me!
