Join SPUR, Muni Diaries, and Local Economy for an evening of true stories inspired by riding transit. From unexpected encounters and meet-cutes to hilarious mishaps and heartfelt moments, Transit Tales celebrates the experiences that make public transportation unforgettable.
Come ready to share a 3-minute story or simply sit back and enjoy an evening of community storytelling.
When you RSVP, please select either "Participant" or "Attendee." Selecting Participant lets us know you're interested in sharing a story, but it does not guarantee you'll be selected to tell one. When you arrive, participants who want to share will add their name to a bowl, and storytellers will be selected throughout the evening.
Whether you're telling a story or cheering others on, come celebrate the people, places, and moments that make transit memorable.

Local Economy is a small, flexible community space on the College Avenue stretch of Rockridge, a few doors from East Bay Booksellers. It looks and feels like a bright neighborhood storefront set up for people to gather rather than a traditional venue.
