Happy Hour
Corica Park is a large public golf complex on Bay Farm Island in Alameda, a short drive from the Oakland airport and the Island’s residential neighborhoods. The setting is flat but open, with long views across fairways, ponds, and a lot of sky. Visitors coming for an event usually end up near the main clubhouse area, where the pro shop, check-in desk, and food-and-drink options are clustered, along with patios and outdoor seating that look out over the courses.

Parking is on-site and sized for regular daily golf traffic plus tournaments, so finding a spot is usually straightforward outside of big events.
The facility includes multiple courses and a sizable practice setup, so there is almost always some mix of everyday golfers, juniors, and people just working on their game. Depending on the event, activity may center on the shop, the range, or one of the putting areas. Things like First Friday gatherings or charity marathons tend to feel casual, with people drifting between the clubhouse, practice greens, and nearby holes. Dress is typical public-golf casual, and non-golfers coming for an event can move around the clubhouse, patios, and designated spectator areas without needing to know much about the sport.
Golf has been played on this site since the late 1920s, and the current layout reflects a recent, long-term overhaul of the old Chuck Corica municipal complex. The South Course reopened in 2018 after a full rebuild, and the North Course followed with its own complete renovation and full reopening in 2025. Together with the nine-hole Mif Albright course and the upgraded practice facility, the property now functions as a large, modern public golf park that still operates as a city-accessible muni at its core.
