Students will be provided with a stone, a knife and a compound loaded strop that we will learn sharpening on as a group. Students are encouraged to bring their favorite kitchen knife to apply their new skills during the later part of the class. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes. We will be working with abrasives and any jewelry, watches etc could get scraped up if worn during class.
This class is led by Jimmy Monaco, a passionate freehand sharpener of 25 years.
