Join us in making your own nutrient-dense, probiotic sauerkraut and brined pickle! Learn the fundamentals of lacto-fermentation and experiment with seasonal produce to achieve unique flavor combinations.

ABOUT THE EVENT
As part of this hands-on workshop, each student will take away a fermentation starter kit filled with seasonal soon-to-be sauerkraut to ferment at home! You will also come away with the skills to ferment your favorite combination of vegetables, no matter the season. Feel confident in your home fermentation practice!
This workshop is taught by Elizabeth Vecchiarelli, owner and founder of Preserved. She brings over 15 years of experience with local, sustainable, fermented and handmade food to her teaching.
