The Grand Gallery Oakland sits in Jack London Square, a short walk from the waterfront and the ferry. It is a straightforward, street-level gallery space with tall walls and enough room for larger works as well as smaller pieces. On typical gallery hours it functions as a quiet place to look at art, but it gets busier on evenings tied to Oakland Art Murmur and other regional art walks, when people drift over from other neighborhoods and nearby studios. more...
