TIME & LOCATION • Saturday July 18, 2026 from 2 pm - 4:30 pm • Preserved, 5540 College Ave, Oakland, CA 94618 ABOUT THE EVENT In this hands-on workshop, we'll cover maintenance and troubleshooting for your gluten-free sourdough starters (included with the workshop). Then we'll get hands-on making a loaf of gluten-free sourdough for everyone to take and bake at home. Our recipe focuses on whole grains/pseudo grains such as rice, buckwheat, millet, quinoa and sorghum, with psyllium husk as the "goo" factor. We do not use any additional gums and the recipe is vegan as well. This class is led by fermentation educator, gardener and clinical herbalist Helena del Pesco.
