In this hands-on workshop, we'll cover maintenance and troubleshooting for your gluten-free sourdough starters (included with the workshop). Then we'll get hands-on making a loaf of gluten-free sourdough for everyone to take and bake at home. Our recipe focuses on whole grains/pseudo grains such as rice, buckwheat, millet, quinoa, and sorghum, with psyllium husk as the "goo" factor. We do not use any additional gums, and the recipe is vegan as well.
This class is led by fermentation educator, gardener, and clinical herbalist Helena del Pesco.
Take Note: Students will need to bake their bread the following day at home! We are not a gluten-free facility - we do host other classes using wheat flour.
All students will receive a 10% discount on post-workshop purchases in our store. All Workshop Sales are final. Reschedule requests require 5 days advanced notice.
