Almanac Beer Co.’s Alameda outpost, often called Almanac Adventureland, sits out at Alameda Point in the former naval air station area, in the same general Spirits Alley stretch as other breweries and tasting rooms. The setting is a big converted hangar-style building with a lot of outdoor space, so most visits feel more like hanging out in a casual park than dropping into a bar.

Expect a large turfed beer garden with picnic tables, palm trees, and sandboxes that are usually busy with kids. Food is handled by rotating trucks and pop ups, and it is normal to see a mix of families, groups of friends, and people with dogs on leash.
Inside, the main taproom and adjacent spaces are straightforward and functional, with long tables, a bar with a wide tap list, and an arcade area that gets steady use. The venue is broken up into a few zones, including the Barrel Hall, which doubles as an indoor beer garden and event room. That is the space that hosts live pro wrestling events like Puppet Wars: Silent Night, Broken Strings, Brawl in the Barrel Hall, and similar shows, so if you are coming for one of those, expect a warehouse-style room outfitted with a ring, standing room, and some scattered seating rather than a traditional theater setup.
Drinks lean heavily on Almanac’s own beers, including a rotating lineup that often features IPAs, pilsners, lagers, and their better known sour and farmhouse styles, along with guest wine, cider, non alcoholic options, and seasonal slushies. The Alameda facility is also the company’s flagship brewery and production site, which opened in a 1940s-era hangar at the former Naval Air Station in 2018, building on a brewing operation that has been around since 2010.
